Renewable sources, it is time for mergers and acquisitions
The future for the “clean energy” industry is getting brighter and brighter, as evidenced by the increasing number of M&A operations in that sector. According to Davide Milano, project manager of Arietti & Partners, the main drivers are the need of economies of scale and other market factors such as the rising energy demand from Eastern Europe and Asia, diversification in order to survive the end of the “oil era” in the future and rising eco-awareness of consumers.
