Provel has been acquired by 3D Systems
Provel is an Italian service company active in the rapid prototyping sector. The company is the market leader in Italy in the production of this kind of prototypes, having as clients some of the major Italian automotive and design companies, and is well known for the high quality and timeliness of its service.
3D Systems Corporation is a listed U.S. company and is the world leader in the production of rapid prototyping printers and machines. The company has acquired 100% of the quotas of Provel, performing its largest acquisition to date. This acquisition has been made in light of the new worldwide strategy of 3D Systems, aimed at a global vertical integration of its activities.
The Vendors as well as the managers of Provel will remain with the company and play an important role in the further development of 3D Systems in Italy and in Europe.
