Hypertherm acquires the Italian based Esse A
Hypertherm Inc., the world leader in the plasma cutting technology has acquired the Bologna based Esse A, a top manufacturer of consumables and accessories for laser cutting systems. Arietti & Partners - the Italian team of M&A International Inc., has assisted Hypertherm Inc in the negotiations. The deal closed in the record time of four months.
Through the acquisition Hypertherm Inc. complements its product portfolio as far as the “Centricut” consumable products segment and brings the number of its employees beyond the1000 units mark.
Mr. Jack Lee (Corporate Development Leader of Hypertherm) said: "Arietti & Partners - the Italian team of M&A International Inc.- assisted us throughout the negotiation process. Their understanding and knowledge of the Italian market has been a key driver for the success of our acquisition".

Performance in Lighting acquires Ed-Dis Group
Bruxelles, 22nd May, 2008 Performance in Lighting, Italian group leader in the lighting sector with the production of lighting products, announces its acquisition of 100% shares of Ed-Dis Group (Belgium).
The Enterprise Value has been agreed in 24 million Euro.
Performance in Lighting chose Arietti & Partners – the Italian team of M&A International Inc. for its global expansion via acquisitions. Thanks to the acquisition of Ed-Dis, Performance in Lighting continues its expansion strategy, also via acquisitions, in order to create a European leader in the Lighting sector.
“This deal shows that the “Made in Italy” sector can still bring some leading Italian companies to be worldwide leaders also via acquisition strategies” says Giovanni Panigada - Project Manager at Arietti & Partners, the Italian team of M&A International Inc., that lead the team of professionals to the end of this deal.
