MMF London 2011: focus on Technology
M&A International Inc. is glad to introduce a new event in the programme of the 10th M&A Mid-Market Forum, to be held in London on 10 June 2010. The day before the Forum, 9 June 2010, the “Global Briefing: M&A Trends and Outlook in the Technology Sector” will bring together partners from M&A International Inc.’s Technology Industry Group with industry executives, financiers and other professionals from the technology industry to discuss the current trends, drivers and prospects in this rapidly changing sector.
“2010 was an extremely active year for M&A in the Technology sector on a global basis – especially in the second half of the period” stated Brad Adams, head of M&A International Inc.’s Technology Group. “Strategic acquirors with healthy balance sheets and a strong need to accelerate growth have turned back to the M&A markets to execute growth strategies. In addition, with a rebound in the capital markets, private equity acquirors are once again in the game and are aggressively looking for platform acquisitions on a global basis. We are excited about the M&A prospects for 2011 and look forward to seeing another active deal year in the Technology sector”.
