G8 Young Business Summit
Arietti & Partners, the Italian team of M&A International Inc., has been platinum sponsor of the G8 Young Business Summit - Stresa (Hotel Regina Palace) 2-3 July 2009.
The event, organised by Giovani Imprenditori della Confindustria Piemonte, was part of the 4th edition of Forum di Stresa “The Innovations we need”: two days of meetings, workshops and debates to answer the question “What are the Innovations we need to re-launch the economy?”.
Innovation and Growth through cross-border M&A
The forum has been opened by a panel discussion involving M&A International Inc. members coming from different countries, discussing the importance of innovation in today's economy and how mergers and acquisitions can contribute to the innovation process.

Business to Business Bilateral Meetings
After the panel discussion, attendees met other entrepreneurs and M&A International Inc. advisors to discuss different typologies of innovation and know-how acquisition through M&A transactions, generating new co-operation opportunities.
Each delegate received a personalised schedule of one-to-one meetings, each lasting 25 minutes. More than 200 bilateral meetings were held, involving over 70 international delegates.
G8 Young Business Summit - Final Declaration
G8 Young Leaders delegations met in order to discuss their contributions to the global G8 agenda and with the aim to agree on a common official declaration.
In front of the world mass media, the leaders of the G8 YBS signed and presentes their official declaration. This document, first of its kind in the history of the G8, has been a major input to the Government G8, held in Italy the week after.
Workshops
On Friday 3 July in the morning, two workshops have been held addressing different aspects of Innovation. Experts from all over the world gathered to engage the participants on themes as Green and Social Innovations.
Innovation Forum
On Friday afternoon, after the ATKearney Survey on Innovation presentation, two roundtables completed the programme of the conference. Attilio Arietti, president of Arietti & Partners, took part on the panel of experts of the “Innovation as a driver of growth” roundtable.
