Acquisitions

We advise our clients in acquisitions of companies, majority and minority shareholdings in Italy as well as abroad. 

In this task our team identifies, negotiates and closes national and international transactions, assisting our clients in cooperation with our international colleagues all over the world.
The acquisition process is:


  • identification of the strategic objectives of the transaction and discussion of the possible alternatives
  • definition of the research and acquisition criteria (size, financial parameters, strategic positioning, geographic area)
  • identification of the target companies matching the acquisition criteria
  • approach the shareholders of the selected target companies with the assistance of our international colleagues acting abroad
  • negotiations, structuring and closing of the transaction
  • assistance, together with the other consultants engaged by the client, in the due diligence activities as well as in drafting the acquisition contractual documents
